Good planting design isn't just about choosing plants you love — it's about understanding your soil, your light, your aspect, and how a border will look and perform across the seasons. Get it right and a garden almost takes care of itself. Get it wrong and you spend years fighting it.
I've been obsessed with plants my whole life, experimented with different planting combinations and and have grown vegetables and cut flowers. The recommendations I make are rooted in genuine experience.

A standalone planting plan works well if you:
- Have existing beds or borders you want to replant or refresh
- Are creating new borders and want them designed properly from the start
- Already have a layout you’re happy with and just need the planting sorted
- Want a plan you can hand to a gardener or work through yourself, at your own pace
What’s included
Every planting plan includes a scaled, drawn plan showing exactly where each plant goes, and a full plant list to take to a nursery or use to order online. Together they give you everything you need to get planting with confidence.
This service is available remotely — you don’t need to be local. Send me your measurements, photos, and details about your soil and conditions, and I can work from there.
Pricing
Planting plans are priced on scope — the size of the area, how many plants are staying, and the complexity of the scheme. Get in touch with a few photos and a rough sense of what you’re working with and I’ll come back to you with a quote.
